Pat also vacationed in Maine with her husband Howard. Pat is survived by her children Timothy Samascott of Ballston Spa, Thomas Samascott (Laural) of Ballston Spa, Susan Samascott (Jack) of Ballston Spa, Joseph Samascott (Mary) of Ballston Spa and Stephen Samascott of Glenville; grandchildren Wayne Samascott (Sarah), Shannon Sheft (Mike), Jessica Blust (Anthony), Stanley Janczak (Jennifer), Katie Leiser (Brad), Mary Yager (Kyle), Sarah Samascott (Mac) and Stephanie Samascott; brother in law Edward Falkowski; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Rose worked at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory Kesselring Site in West Milton for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Nora Farr, and her siblings Eleanor Chambers, Regina Reagan, Joseph Farr, John Farr, Alfred Farr and Mary Reagan.
Bob was an engineer working both in television and radio for WRGB and WGY in Schenectady for 35 years, retiring in 1983.
Bob held an advanced license as a ham radio operator with the call sign N2AIA.
He also loved music, initially playing trombone in an orchestra, and later learning guitar and keyboard.
He was predeceased by his wife of more than 60 years, Eileen and his brothers Arthur and Stanley Gutshall.
Ferris, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
Born in Athens, Pennsylvania, on January 5, 1935, she was the daughter of John and Nora Farr. She treasured the time she spent with them, cooking and family gatherings. Mary’s Church in Ballston Spa, her faith was an important part of her life.
He was an Army veteran proudly serving in World War II.
He served in North Africa, Mediterranean, Italy, France, and Germany.
Bob is survived by his children Jeffrey Gutshall (Mary) of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Jacqueline St.
