Ralph was very active on the local sport scene where he was an umpire, referee and sports official for nearly 50 years.He is survived by children and their spouses, Burt and Lisa Butler, Mark Butler, Mary Anne and Jack Narosky, Don and Debbie Butler, and Helen and Jim Specchio; grandchildren, Jeremie (Angela), Jennie, Lauren, Eric (Myranda), Samantha (Tyler), Michael, Ben, Emily and Sarah; three great grandchildren; special friend and longtime companion Mary Ogershok; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. An avid outdoor enthusiast, Ralph enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He loved camping at Lake Bonin with family, watching Abby and Ky ride their bikes and was known as the “licorice man.” He loved taking his grandchildren, Riley and Kayley, for ice cream.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Dean) Royce; daughter, Terry Royce of Trumansburg; son, Phil Royce of Newfield; grandchildren, Matt, Scott, Kyle and Adrianna; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Age 81, of Dundee, Florida, and formerly of Cayuta, NY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018. Gary is survived by his four children: Ryan Brown of Cortland, NY, Tyler and Samantha Brown of Odessa, NY, Craig (Becky) Brown of Cayuta, NY and Paxtyn Brown of Elmira, NY.
He was a member of the Italian American Veterans Club, America Legion Post #1208, Wayne, NY, and the Elmira Elks Lodge #62. Anthony’s Church, where he was one of the organizers of the annual festival. He was a retired Chemical Engineer with a passion for math and the environment.
He most recently was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He loved conversation, good food, travel and model trains.

Boyce was a time study engineer at Emerson Power Transmissions in Ithaca, NY for over 40 years, retiring in 1999. He is also survived by his parents, Larry and Janet Brown, and his brother, Marc Brown, of Gilbert, AZ.Frederick had a strong belief in God, and was a member of the Cayuta Free Church. Gary was a kind, loving man “who never met a stranger.” He led a big life, always willing to help his friends and neighbors, and at the center was his family and children. Age 44, of Painted Post, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He is survived by a daughter, Shelly (Kenneth) Kleist of Sneads Ferry, NC; a son, Christopher Yaw (Amy Yontz) of Millport; brothers, Douglas Yaw of Ovid and Philip Yaw of Corning; grandchildren, Abrielle, Kyran, and Kenneth III Kleist, and Riley and Kayley Yaw; and by many nieces and nephews.
